Preparing for your appointment:
If you have had any imaging (x-rays, MRI, CT) taken of your shoulder at a facility outside of MGB, please call the radiology office that performed the images and request them to be sent to MGB through PowerShare. PowerShare is a software system that allows hospitals to send images back and forth. If the radiology facility does not use PowerShare, please request the images to be placed on a CD so you may bring them to your visit.
Please ensure we have the most up-to-date health insurance on file for you. You can confirm this by logging into patient gateway, or by calling MGB registration at 866-211-6588
If your injury is work-related, please call MGB registration at 866-211-6588 and add your worker’s compensation information to your medical record. Please bring your worker’s compensation information to your appointment as well.
